Born in Romania, Rae had lived in Canton most of her life. She was a 1942 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She was retired from Social Security after 30 years of service and then volunteered in her retirement at Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a 50 year member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Little Flower Altar and Rosary Society, and Little Flower Bereavement Ministry.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jay C. Lash in 1992; parents, Valerie and Karoline Barson; and a brother, George Barson. Survived by three sons, and Daughter, a step-son, two daughters-in-law, a son-in law, Five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Hank of Minerva; and three brothers, Olympic, Sam, and Bobby Barson.
