Funeral for James E. Calder will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Young's Funeral Home in Tigard, with internment in Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City.
A retired auto dealer in Portland, Mr. Calder died March 11 in Palm Springs, Calif.
Born in Salt Lake City, he spent his boyhood years in Baker. In Portland, he was associated with Oldsmobile and Buick Dealerships in Southeast Portland. In recent years, he divided his time between homes in Tigard and Palm Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack Bench of Los Angeles and Mrs. Don Oscarson of Philadelphia; four sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests rememberances may be contributions in his memory to the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
