Marilyn Decker of West Stout Avenue, a worker at the Ulster County Courthouse, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was 69. She was formerly employed by the Hercules Powder Co. in production, LeHerb's Restaurant as a waitress and the Kingston Tea Garden. She was an avid walker and enjoyed knitting. Her husband, Donald F. Decker, died May 13, 1967. She was born July 6, 1930, in Kingston, a daughter of the late George and Agnes Sittman Maines. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Pierri of Poconos, Pa.; and Holly Cometti of Albany; a sister, Arlene Bouck of Kingston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. A son John Melnik, and two sisters, Janis Buono and Betty Simpson, died previously. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m at Keyser Funeral Service, Port Ewen Chapel, Broadway and Stout avenues. The Rev. Angelo Pierri will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
