Richard Curtis Redmon beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Grass Valley, Calif. He was 66. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012.

Richard was born March 31, 1945 to William C Redmon and Rhoda Mary Hearn, in Yuma, Arizonia. He retired from Pacific Bell Telephone, where he was an installer and a lineman for 32 years. He also was a member of E. clampus Vitas, Nevada City -Chapter 10.

Richard and Marsha E Geer were married in Monterey, CA in 1964. They lived in Salinas California, where they had the following children; Lori, Liza, Heather, and Ryan. They were divorced.

In 1991 he married Nancy Redmon. They lived in washington, Ca. He was affectionately called "Pops." He enjoyed camping, panning for gold, golf and fishing. He was a jewelry maker and his favorite past-time was spending time with friends and family.

He enjoyed taking his grandchildren on wild flower hikes and rides in his Polaris. He also liked taking road trips with friends. He was a lover of life and of helping others. He had numerous "adopted" children that he loved dearly, which made his family whole.

He was an inspiration and a guiding light for those who knew him and will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives with light and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters, Lori, Lisa, and Heather; sons, Ryan, Mike, and Shawn; sisters, Mary and Glenda; brothers, Roy and Donny; and 11 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his father William C Redmon, his mother Rhoda M Hearn; brother George A Redmon and 1st wife Marsha Geer.
