An autopsy proved a heart at-
tack to have been the cause of the
death of R. H. (Rudy) Atkinson,
South Charleston electrician, Dr.
Goff Lilly, county coroner, report-
ed.
Mr. Atkinson, 45, was dead on
arrival at McMillan hospital after
being taken there from his home
in an ambulance Saturday night.
An autopsy was performed be-
cause officials were not certain as
to the death cause.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the
Schwamb Memorial Presbyterian
church with the Rev. Bernard E.
Vanderbeck officiating.
Burial will be in Cunningham
Memorial park with graveside
rites by members of Charleston
Lodge 153, AF and AM.
Mr. Atkinson lived at 548 Valley
Dr.
The body is at the Bartlett mor-
tuary where it will remain until
one hour before the service.
