Bonnie was the sixth child born to Walter Wheaton Heath & Francis Lillian Sternberg. Bonnie's Mother passed away in 1926. Bonnie went to Gooding College earning a teaching certificate, then became a teacher at Fairfield Camas Co.Idaho where she met Henry DeWitt Peck (Dee) they were married 5 November, 1938. They were the parents of five children Lynn W., Linda Ray(1941-1941) Iris E. Blair N, and Bonnie Jean. They moved to Molalla, clackamas, Oregon where Dee worked and passed away in 1987. Bonnie was a member of the Molalla United Methodist Church.
