Edith M. Bolt, age 86 of Middlesboro, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was born August 11, 1925, in Harrogate, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late Harve and Mary Standifer Brooks.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Bolt; her daughter, Jennifer Sharp Bolt; and grandson, Jimmy Weaver.

Mrs. Bolt is survived by her children, Patricia Kimsey, Angela Bolt (Matthew) Hall, Gregory Curtis (Joann) Bolt, Kimberly Bolt, Jeffrey Richard (Debbie) Bolt; grandchildren, Michelle Evans, Kristie Byrd, J.C. Sharp, Crista Bolt Estes, April Wallace, and Tanner Bolt; 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. Boyd Gray officiating.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at Harrogate Cemetery.
