A. M. Klahn, 89, Wheatland, died Monday at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, with the Rev. William Kanne officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wheatland.
He was born Feb. 3, 1908, in Wheatland, to Alfred and Minnie Richmond Klahn. He married Hilda Strackbein, Dec 2, 1931, in Davenport.
He was a farmer and had been an adjuster for Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. for 25 years. He retired to Wheatland in 1975.
He was a member of St. Paul's Church.
