My husband's paternal grandfather.

Grandpa Van Hyning was the oldest of four children of Grover Cleveland Van Hyning and Lavitha Maggie Geho. He was a military veteran of both WWII and the Korean War, serving in both the Navy and Army. He married Reita Maxine Kelsey on 29 June 1944 in Bellefontaine, Logan County, Ohio and they had six children.
