William was born in 1846 in Henry County, Georgia. His parents were Jesse Dollar and Mary Ann Borley. Before the war William lived in Fulton County, Georgia. He was a Confederate soldier in the 2nd Georgia Infantry Reserves. He enlisted in 1864 and was discharged in Albany, Georgia in 1865. He was married to Mary C. Parnell in Campbell County, Georgia in 1868. William and Mary were living with their 7 children in Adamsville, Fulton County, Georgia in 1880. William was a farmer. He died in Fulton County, Georgia in 1891

William Erastus b. 1872
Casby Edward b. 1873
Ella Ophelia b. 1875
Henry A. b. 1876
