Sarah F Adkisson or Sallie as she was called by most, was the third child and daughter born to Daniel H and Angeline Stewart Adkisson. Sallie arrived 7 Mar 1857.

Sallie was first married to William A Willis 4 Oct 1876, with whom she had 6 children. Only four of the 6 children survived; Etta, Eliza, Roxa, and Harvey H. Her husband William died prior to the 1900 census where Sallie is listed as widowed.

Sallie married her 2nd husband James Taylor Springer 10 Sep 1903, they had no children together but were married nearly 30 years when Sallie died in 1932.
