JONES, VIRGINIA B. - age 75, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, July 16, 2001, at her residence. Member of Mascot Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents, siblings, and sons, Robert Luther and Joseph "Joe" Andrew Jones. Survivors include husband, Hugh "Bill" Jones; son, John H. Jones and wife, Glendia; daughter, Rayona B. Taylor and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Patricia Jones, Patrick Jones, Jessica Jones, Virginia Vaughn and Lisa Vaughn, and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at McCarty Mortuary with John "Johnny" Jenkins and Benny Hackler officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery for the interment. The Jones family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Drive.
