Obituary of W. Ezekiel Hall from June 8, 1955

"Funeral services will be held from the Rocky River Baptist Church today at 5 p.m. for W. Ezekiel Hall, 61 year old farmer of the Rocky River community, east of Iva, who died yesterday at 11:30 a.m. at Anderson Memorial hospital."

"The Reverend C.B. Barrett, the Reverend J.H. Hampton, the Reverend Bill Bargoll will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery."

Pallbearers will be Otto Alewine, F.D. Alewine, Matthew Brezeale, Adger Gray, Harold Hall, Cowan Willingham, and Clyde Gambrell."

"The escort of honor will include officers and members of the board of Directors of the REA, together with Horace Tucker, Grady Jackson, Marton Jackson, S.E. Leverette, W.A. (Bill) Gailey, Jim Suttles, T.W. McAllister, the Reverend J.C. Tucker, Elliott Stokes, Joe Anderson, S.M. McAdams, J.B.Thomas, Tom Hanks, Henry

"Mr. Hall was a son of the late W. Ezekiel Hall and Louvenia (Hall) Hall, also lifelong residents of Anderson County, and he was a veteran of World War I."

"He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eula Stuart Hall, and one sister, Mrs. Mallie Hall, of the home."
