MILES CITY, MT --- Hazel Archer, 96, died Tuesday in Holy Rosary Hospital.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Gold Star Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Archer, 96, died Tuesday in Holy Rosary Hospital.

She was born in Delaware, Iowa, a daughter of George and Sophia Engle Lawrence.

She moved to Iowa from Minnesota at the age of 11.

In 1907, she married Martin Thompson.
He preceded her in death.

On July 17, 1917, she married Norvil Archer.
He preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Harry Archer of South Shore, S.D,; Joseph Archer of Brighton, CO., Cecil Archer of Great Falls, MT., and Wally Archer of Billings, MT., two daughters, Lillie Mae of Seattle, WA., and Barbara Steinert of Lewistown: 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Prayer service will be at 7p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in trinity Lutheran Church.

Burial will be in the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
