Clarence Dale "Jack" Hunter

Clarence Dale "Jack" Hunter, 87, Hutchinson, died Saturday, August 17, 1991, at Stafford District Hospital, Stafford.

He was born July 8, 1903, at Lyons. He was a graduate of Lyons High School. A longtime Stafford resident, he was a clothier for Audrey and Lantz Clothing Store, Stafford, and a farmer.

He was a member of the Stafford County Golf Association, the First Christian Church, and was a past member of the Rotary Club, all at Stafford.

On July 14, 1932, he married Gladys Ferris at Stafford. She died Feb. 10, 1985. On Sept. 21, 1985, he married Wilma Jenkins at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Dale, Prairie Village; a daughter, Ann McCord, Oak Park, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Louan Talley, Zirconia, N.C.; a sister, Vergie Epp, Derby; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church, Stafford, with Rev. Gerald Lamb officiating. Burial was in Stafford Cemetery, Stafford.
