Mrs. Clarence Hunter
Gladys Grace Hunter, 83, Hutchinson, formerly of Stafford, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 1985, at her home. Born Gladys Ferris Sept. 12, 1901, in Stafford County, she married Clarence D. "Jack" Hunter July 14, 1932, at Stafford. She was a former schoolteacher and had spent most of her life in Stafford, recently moving to Hutchinson.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Stafford, University of Kansas Alumni Association, Alpha-Omicron Phi, and Sigma Club, Stafford.
Survivors: husband, of the home; son, Dale, Prairie Village; dauughter, Ann McCord, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Stafford. Rev. Frank Stahl will officiate. Burial will be in the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials to the church.
