Born in Dunellen, he lived in Plainfield before moving to Westfield about thirty years ago. He was connected with the H.G. Mooney Co. in Newark several years. A member of the Presbyterian Church, he served as an elder and as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Mooney Hzaeltine; a son, Allen V. Hazeltine of Westfield, and a brother, Arthur N. Hazeltine of Plainfield.
Services were held at Gray's Funeral Home last night at 8 p.m. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
