"In Auburn Ravine, a mile below Auburn, west of the site of the Stone House, and up the hill there from, and north of the iron waterpipe extending up the hill, is located the grave of an early immigrant as indicated by the inscription on the country rock: Milton O. FINLEY, Morgan Co., Mo., Jan. 7, 1850."
