Susan B. Smith b. 5 April 1823-d. 31 March 1910 daughter of Daniel Smith and Margaret O'Hara Harrow. She married Ignatius Brown b. 23 December 1805- d. 25 December 1897 the son of Whihelm Browne (William Brown) and Anna Elizabeth Burhman.

They had the following children:

(1.) Lewis A. Brown b. 29 October 1856-d. 21 December 1945 married Emma C. Smith. He operated the Euclid or Browns Store, it is an historical location, 1/4 mile south of the Zion United Methodist Church, Washington County, MD., on the left-hand side of the present Mount Zion Road. The wooden structure stands to this day.

(3.) Alice Brown, married and unknown Harbaugh.
(4.) Eliza L. Brown b. 15 February 1846- d. 24 September 1858.
(5.) Analine Brown, died in infancy.
