A.B. (Buddy) Woodruff, 49, brother of Mrs. Billy Dick Holly of Natchitoches, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, in a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Hebron Chuch near Dry Prong.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Holdman, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Sills, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon McQueen attended the funeral."

Final Rites For A. B. Woodruff At Dry Prong Jan. 21
Funeral services for A. B. Woodruff, 49, of Joyce, who died in a Shreveport hospital at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, following a heart attack Tuesday night, have been scheduled to be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Hebron Baptist Church in Dry Prong. The Rev. Mr. Arrington will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers of Winnfield.
Mr. Woodruff, a night watchman at Tremont Lumber Company, is survived by two brothers, J. R. Woodruff of Urania, and Willie Woodruff of Joyce; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Bradford of Huntsville, Texas and Mrs. Irene Holly of Natchitoches.
