Mrs. Goins was born October 29, 1931, in Finklea Township, Horry County, the daughter of the late Martin Durham Hammond and Roxie Cleo Buffkin Hammond.
She graduated from Green Sea High School. On May 3, 1950, she married Horace Goins.
She attended Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by two daughters, the Rev. Wanda Wilson (the Rev. Johnny R. Wilson) and Janice R. Goins; and a son, Horace (Cindy Rayy) Goins Jr.; two sisters, Bobby Faye King and Darcus Ann Bullard; three brothers, Elery, Joseph, and Houston (Ethel) Hammond; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia Hammond and Shirley Hammond; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Jewel Holt; two sisters, Katheryn Mayers and Peggy Jean Johnson; and four brothers, Aaron, Franklin, Jimmy, and Martin Hammond.
The funeral Services was Friday, March 30, 2012, at First Assembly of God. The Rev. David Richardson, the Rev. Wanda Wilson, and the Rev. Dave Hoskins officiated.
Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
