Was called "FATHER" by his children, never daddy or dad. Sons: John Lillard "Jack" Conrad, James Bradley Sercy "Jim" Conrad, Edgar Spellman Conrad and Thomas Adam Conrad. Daughters: Susan Elizabeth Conrad and Elizabeth Grace conrad. Was a veteran of the Civil War. Served in the 9th Regiment, Company D. Arkansas Infantry.
