Delia S. Massey, 88, of 853 Hill Top Drive, Danville, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home after an illness.
Born Feb. 15, 1902, in Sloans Valley, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Amy Lewis Steele. She was a housewife and a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. She was the widow of Claude Massey. Survivors include a daughter, Lois M. Acton of Danville; a son, Milton K. Massey of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Danville Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Bruce Richardson. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
