After a long life filled with love, James "Jim" Cornet Albright died peacefully on July 24 at 101 years old. "Corney" as many knew him, was born April 5, 1908. The son of Emma & George, he was raised in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was the last living sibling of 10 Albright children. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Pearl Richey Albright, granddaughter Danielle Albright, great-granddaughter Cayleigh Maguire, and many other beloved family members and friends. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Mrs. Pam Albright of Akron, grandchildren Jeanine Albright Saccogna of Greenville, SC, Mariesa Albright Woodring of Birmingham, AL, and Stephen Albright of Charleston, WV. Great-grandchildren include Nicholas, Alexander, and Stephanie Saccogna, all of Greenville, SC. In his working years, Jim was a master tool and die maker for Link-Belt Company. He and his wife moved to Ohio in 1982. In recent years, he was a resident at The Village at St. Edward in Fairlawn. He truly loved to return to Indiana over the years for Albright/Albrecht family reunions. In the summer of 2008 he made the trip, when, at 100 years old, he was officially crowned the oldest living member of the Albright family. The title was something in which he took great pride. Friends may call from 5-8pm Tuesday, July 28 at the Usher Funeral Home. James will be buried at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities.
