She is survived by her husband James Brown; daughter Kiyeseni Jenkins; son-in-law David Jenkins; sisters Virginia Baynes Wood; Sharon Baynes Mitchell of Pittsburgh, PA; niece Cassandra Lynn Wood; nephew Craig Leon Wood; grandnieces Lauren Wood, Jewel Devorawood; and other relatives and friends.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 9 pm Thurs., July 30th in the Tiffany Chapel of CYPRESS LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31st at 1 pm at the same location. In honor of her legacy, contributions may be made in her name to The Council of Black American Affairs at City College of San Francisco, 50 Phelan Avenue R403, San Francisco, CA 94112.
