He was born in the county of Norfolk, in England, on October 14, 1883. He received his education at the Church Missionary College in London, England and at the Bible Training Institute in Glasgow, Scotland, in addition to which he took a five year course at Emanuel College in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He was ordained as a deacon September 25, 1910, and as a priest June 8, 1912. He died on Sept 3, 1935."
