Pauline Yosha Alboher, 99, a co-founder of Etz Chaim Congregation and Deborah Sisterhood, died Friday, Aug. 26.
Mrs. Alboher was born in Monstier, (now Bitola)Yugoslavia and came to Indianapolis in 1915.
She was a member of Chevra Kadisha of Indianapolis and of the Tzidaka Committee of Etz Chaim Congregation and Rocheseim. Services were Sunday in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary Rabbi Samuel Atsmi officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Deborah Sisterhood in care of Mildred Alboher. Pauline was the widow of Mordecai Alboher:
Survivors include sons. Jack M. and Murray Alboher; daughters, Sally Alboher Persh of Denver and Tillie Alboher; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
