Jackson, TN - Services for Albert N. Betts, Sr., age 86, will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1 p.m., at Unity Temple COGIC. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Betts died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital.
Mr. Betts is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annie B. Betts; one daughter, Maria Betts; six sons, Albert (Ida) Betts, Jr., Gregory Betts, Sr., Donald Betts, Robert (Felicia) Betts, Victor Betts, Sr., Anthony (Tammy) Betts; one sister, Minnie Butler; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Everlene (Jimmie) Stewart and Ida Ruth Betts.
Visitation for Mr. Betts will begin Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The remains of Mr. Betts will lie-in-state at Unity Temple COGIC on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of service.
