John Leonard "Jack" Ford, 73, Bloomington, Minn., passed away Monday, March 26, in Minneapolis, following complications of open heart surgery. He was surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Green Bay on Oct. 19, 1938, graduated from East High School in 1956, and married his high school sweetheart, Diane Brumlic in October, 1958.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. John L. Ford (Mary); his stepmother, Gwendolyn R. Ford; his sister, Patricia Shaw; and his nephew, Christopher Hardcastle. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Diane; his son, John Leonard Ford III (Leanne); his daughter, Susan Ford; his grandchildren, Kristina Pike, Kathryn Ford, John (Jack) Ford, and Emily Ford; his siblings, Mary Kay Paulson, De Pere; Gerry Satterfield, Gaithersberg, Md,; Connie Sachse, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Mollie Christopherson, Green Bay; Colleen Ford, Houston, Texas; and Daniel O. Ford, Minneapolis, Minn.; his nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Interment is at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
