Mrs. Ida Ater of Aurora, died at the Aurora Hospital Thursday, December 13, of tuberculosis, after an illness of several months.

Ida Foote was born in Earlville September 27, 1879, and died December 13, 1906, at the age of 27 years, 2 months and 16 days. She grew to womanhood in Earlville graduating from the Earlville High School in 1897 with a class of fourteen. In 1901 she was married to S. A. Ater of Aurora, where they since resided. She was of cheerful disposition and had many friends who mourn her untimely death. She leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Foote of Earlville, two sisters, Mrs. N. Lemmon, of Pullman and Mrs. C. L. Hyde of Earlville; husband and infant daughter Dorothy age 1 year and 7 months. The sympathy of the many friends follow the bereaved husband. The funeral was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the residence, 151 LaSalle Street, conducted by Rev. Hepburn, of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment in Spring Lake Cemetery.
