Lydia Wagner was a daughter of John Baker and his second wife Icephane (Lufenia) Martin Baker. She was born August 15, 1902 in Cow Run, in Washington County Ohio. She married Gilbert E Wagner on July 14, 1923, and they were the parents of at least 4 children: Dale E, Calvin E, Ruth (Castin), & Alice (Schafer). When she died at the age of 57, they had 13 grandchildren.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Bretheren Church in Marietta, Ohio.

Lydia was 57 at the time of her death, and is buried at Valley Cemetery. (Funeral by Doudna & McClure Funeral Home).
