Born October 16, 1928, in Friendsville, Garrett County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rubena (Lowdermilk) Humberson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Campbell.
Mrs. Campbell was a Plant Assigner for Southern Belle Phone Company and an Operator for East Cooper Hospital. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Schmaltz, Goose Creek, S.C.; four brothers, George Thomas, Friendsville, Ruben Humberson, Patterson Creek, West Va.; Ward and Harold Humberson, both of Streetsboro, Ohio; a sister, Virginia Pomplas, Confluence, Pa.; three grandchildren, Denise Schmaltz, Shannon Harley and Kyle Schmaltz; four gr grandchildren, Dakota Schmaltz, Mirnada Harley, Makenzie Schmaltz and Landon Schmaltz.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, on Saturday from 5-7 p.m.
Services will be conducted in Sand Spring Church of God on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Nevin Umbel officiating.
Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Sand Spring Cemetery.
