Lewis Fuller Obituary:
Lewis William Fuller, 63, of 828-Seventh Ave. E., died in Kalispell on Thursday morning.
He was born Sept 9, 1916, in Whitefish, a son of John P. and Pearl M. Fuller. He graduated from Libby High School in 1933, and Montana State University in 1939 with a degree in forestry.
On April 19, 1941, he married Violet Clare Murphy in Billings.
Fuller was employed with the Soil Conservation Service for many years, retiring in 1973. He had lived in Malta, Eureka, Polson and in Kaispell for the past 16 years.
He was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church, NARFE, Soil Conservation Society of America, Stillwater Grange, a life member of the Montana State University Alumni Association, and was also on the Mosquito Control board of Kalispell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucille Fuller, and is now survived by his wife, Violet at home; a son, David Lewis Fuller of Kalispell; two daughters, Lois Marie Heilman of Portland, Ore., and Norma Joyce Dykes of Kalispell; four grandchildren, Brad, Brian, Geanne and Barry Dykes, all of Kalispell; one brother, Norman in Washington; and three sisters, Margaret Wickham of Seattle, Wash., Mariam Hall of Sequim, Wash., and Joyce Lane of Troy.
Services for Fuller will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Calvary Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lowell Stordahl officiating. Burial will be in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home.
