DIES SUDDENLY IN BOISE

Mrs. Mae T. Severn, 62 years of age, former well known Montpelier resident, died suddenly at 6:45 p.m. Monday in Boise, where she was visiting at the home of her son, C. Allen Severn. Mrs. Severn became ill Monday morning, and the cause of her death was given as thrombosis, following an autopsy held Tuesday.

Mrs. Severn was born in Georgetown and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoff to Montpelier when a young girl. She was married to Harry A. Severn August 7, 1907, and had lived here until a couple of years ago, when she and her husband moved to Shoshone to reside. She was the mother of four children, a daughter, Louise having passed away at the age of eight years. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, all of whom were in the service during World War II. They are C. Allen Severn of Boise, Frank Severn of Montpelier, and Russell Severn of Idaho Falls; five sisters, Miss Katie Hoff and Mrs. Hattie Barkdull of Montpelier, Mrs. Grace Budge of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ruby Cozzens of Vista, California, and Mrs. Genevieve Wyatt of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada survive; also four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First ward chapel. Friends may call at the Williams Mortuary until 12 o'clock Friday.

FINAL RITES FOR MRS. HARRY SEVERN

Services for the late Mrs. Harry Severn were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First ward chapel with Bishop Walter A. Hunzeker presiding. The invocation was given by Royal Clark; song, "My Loved One Rest," Mrs. Ed Grosjean; remarks, Bishop Hunzeker; speaker, Bishop B. E. Mumford; song, "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions," Max Haddock; benediction, Lowell Perkins.

Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Nile Matthews. Arrangements were under the direction of the Williams Mortuary.
