George H. Eddy, a former resident of this city, died Thursday in Artesia, Texas. He was 70 years of age and beside his wife, is survived by five children, Miss Carrie E. Eddy, of Glens Falls ; Mrs. P. T. Birchard, of Omaha, Neb.; Miss Pauline Eddy, of Artesia, Texas; Harris Eddy, of Omaha, Neb.; and Miss Rose Eddy, of Mount Vernon. The deceased was a son of the late George and Hannah Haviland Eddy and had resided in this city up to 15 years ago, when he removed to Texas.
