He was the son of the late William Louis and Lola Bailey Smiley and was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Antle Smiley on June 11, 1987.
He is survived by one son, Kelly Smiley of Glensfork, Ky. one sister, Lula Smiley of Columbia, Ky. one half-brother, Ewing Smiley of Columbia, Ky. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a concrete truck driver.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 A. M. at Freedom Cemetery with burial following.
Clergy officiating Bro. Ralph Hadley.
Pallbearers were Chad Wheet, Roger Cundiff, Rick Wilson, Todd Akin, Kim Hadley and Robin Spoon.
