John Benton Blatt, 87, Of 267 Port Clinton Ave., Hamburg, died a 1:45 Saturday in Schuylkill Manor, Pottsville. where he had resided since June 1990. Born in Dauberville, he was a son of the late William P. and Sarah D. (Horne) Blatt. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg, and a charter member of the Centerport Grange, No. 1600. He is survived by a brother, Lloyd M. Blatt Sr., Mohrsville R.D. 1; a niece, Sarah I., wife of Andrew M. Steficek, with whom he last resided, and several other nieces and nephews. Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
