Dorothy Lillian Hines Abel, age 87, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2012. She was born on August 23, 1924, in Pineville, Kentucky to Violet (Clark) and Bradford (B.B.) Morris. Dorothy was a Communication Operator.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Darlene Barnes and her husband Kenny, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, and Suzanne Patrice Sachs, of Frisco, Texas; stepdaughter, Stephanie Lockyear, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; stepson, Stephen Abel and his wife Tere, of Muskegon, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Brad Morris and his wife, Debbie, of Clarksville, Tennessee, Phillip Morris and his wife, Nancy, of Clarksville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husbands, Alvis Hines and Charles Abel; sister, Frances McManus; brother, Greg Morris; parents, Violet and B.B. Morris.

A Graveside Service will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco on Friday, April 6, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Buster officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
