This is believed to be Hannah Hopwood, daughter of Rice Gaddis Hopwood and his wife Ruth Jackson. Hannah appears in the Census only in 1850 with the family, and is not seen after.

The dates on this marker are difficult to read, however
the inscription states that she was a daughter of 'R. G. & Ruth Hopwood". So far, no other Ruth married to a R. G. Hopwood had been discovered in Fayette County, Pennsylvania during this time period, besides Ruth Jackson who married Rice Gaddis Hopwood.

The marker is shared with another daughter of R. G & Ruth Hopwood--Amanda Fuller Hopwood. Again, the dates are unclear.
