DIED PICKARD - At the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.E. Grossert, in the city, Tuesday morning, June 7, 1904 Mrs. James Pickard aged 79 years, 11 months and 5 days.
- The deceased whose maiden name was Mary Brimhall, was born in Boston, Mass., July 2. 1824. She was married to James Pickard in 1862. Mr. Pickard died Dec. 5, 1889 since which time Mrs. Pickard had lived with her only child, Mrs. Ernest E. Grossert, in this city. Mr. and Mrs.Pickard lived at Glenmont in St. Croix county, on the shores of Lake St. Croix for over 20 years when 22 years ago they moved to this city.
As a wife and mother Mrs. Pickard was much beloved; as a neighbor she was respected for her charitable intentions, her kindly ways and her readiness to help.
The funeral is held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. E. E. Clough conducting the service.
