He was born and reared at Tilghmanton, the son of the late Samuel G and Alice A Palmer Line. He had been a farmer in the Tilghmanton District, moving to Hagerstown 20 Years ago.
He resided at the Fahrney-Keedy Home for the last 6 years, member of the Manor Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a brother, harry W Line of Hagerstown and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the A K Coffman Funeral Home where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev Rowland Reichard and Rev Dewitt H Miller. Burial in Manor Cemetery.
