It is with sadness that we announce the passing of one of our youngest members, Raymond Eugene Good. Raymond was born Feb. 9, 1937 at Denbigh, died at the University Hospital, Charlottesville, Mar. 7, 1947, after an illness of over five months, aged 10 years and 28 days.
In May, 1946, Raymond, with others, was received into the church by water baptism.
He is survived by his parents, Wilmer and Ruth (Shelly) Good; 2 brothers, James and Oren; 2 sisters, Velma and Ruby; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Good, Harrisonburg, and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Mar. 10, at the home and Warwick River Church in charge of the Brethern T.H. and Geo. R. Brunk. The school children sang SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS in memory of their little schoolmate who will be missed from their number, and six of them, Joseph Ravenscroft, Donald Schmucker, Carl Shenk, Robert Ross, George Nice and Robert Hertzler acted as pallbearers. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
