He was a son of Anna Vassar Clause of Bethlehem and the late Walter Clause. He retired in 2000 as a sergeant for the Bethlehem Township Police Department, where he was employed for 34 years. He was a 1960 graduate of Easton High School and served with the National Guard. Ronald enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Farmersville. Ron was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club, Safety First Volunteer and Nancy Run fire companies. Survivors: Mother; sons, Richard K. and his wife Teresa of Pooler, Ga., Robert B. of West Chester; daughter, Susan C. Breiner and her husband Ronney of Glendon; brother, Barry of Bethlehem Township; a grandson, Ryan. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald L. Jr.
