"Funeral services for Mrs. William (Bill) Beberniss, 58, have been set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Custer City First Methodist Church with Rev. I. Boyd Ruffman, pastor, officiating. She passed away Tuesday evening in the Thomas Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack early in the day.
Born at Concordia, Kansas, she came to this area with her parents and had lived in the Custer area since 1901. Mrs. Beberniss had been a correspondent for the Thomas Tribune since June of 1955.
Survivors include the husband and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Custer Masonic Cemetery." The Thomas Tribune (Thomas, Oklahoma), March 28, 1957
