When parliament is called the next year, his name does not appear. Also in the same year, Richard le Boteler of Merton granted lands to Henry's widow, "dña Isabella quondam uxor Henrici le Boteler." Isabella, Henry's wife was the daughter of the first Richard le Boteler of Merton, and therefore a first cousin once removed to her husband Henry.

William le Boteler, eldest son, and heir of his grandfather to the barony of Warrington.
