Mrs. Mary Fricke, 91, a resident of Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc, the past two months, died there Tuesday. She formerly resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pollen, of 1035 N. 18th St., Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Fricke, nee Mary Gerl, was born April 12, 1879, at Hilbert, daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Shavet Gerl. She was married to Theodore J. Fricke Nov. 16, 1904, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Catherine) Pollen, of Manitowoc and a granddaughter. Eight brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Wednesday evening where a Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock.
