Ralph R. Klingler, 67, of Chelsea and formerly of Battle Creek, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1993, in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he was vacationing.
Mr. Klingler was born Aug. 28, 1926, in St. Louis, Mo., to John and Delores (Deiss) Klingler.
He moved to Chelsea in 1978 from Battle Creek. He retired from the Environmental Protection Agency in Ann Arbor. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He married the former Esther P. Koch on Sept. 22, 1952. She died Jan. 26, 1989. He then married Helen (Brozoska) Tereshinski on July 25, 1992. She survives.
Also surviving are children, Robert, Roger, Regis, Mary R. Wallingford and Reda Klingler; stepchildren, Butch Tereshinski, Barbara Merlin, Normand Tereshinski, Deby Bush, Ed Tereshinski, Cynthia Gazley and Marie Shott; and 20 grandchildren.
Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Staf fon Mitchell Funeral Home Chelsea.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chelsea, with the Rev. Philip Dupuis.
Burial: 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
