Orval E Yutesler, (Bud), was born June 8, 1921 at Mondamin, IA. He enlisted in the Navy February 1942 and completed basic training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.
He was transferred to the USS Effington for a short period of time, and then transferred to the USS Alabama where he remained until separation from the Navy in 1946 as water tender second class.
Bud was a member of the operating engineers #428 of Phoenix, AZ, life member of VFW Post 10005, Bullhead City, State Northern Area Commander of the American Veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam (AMVETS).
