Hope (poss. Hopestill) E. M. Terrill, b. in circa June 1787, dau. of presently unknown parents and widow of Roswell Hendee. She d. per the Vermont Vital Records (1760-1954) in Feb. 1845 at Randolph, VT, age 57 years, 8 months.
No vital record can be found for her deceased husband, Roswell Hendee, but presumably he is also interred at this same cemetery. He d. Nov. 22, 1834 at Randolph due to an accident while constructing a house. It is inferred that they had multiple children per the 1830 census of Randolph. However, the only child currently known to the memorialist, due to an historical sketch concerning a grandson, is outlined in the father's memorial.
