Leona Dobbins Morrow, lovingly known as Pony, age 77, of East Ridge, TN went home to her Lord and Savior Thursday April 5, 2012.
She was born May 16, 1934 in Chattanooga, TN daughter of the late Vance A. and Inez Dobbins.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Morrow and three brothers, Sam Dobbins, Vance Dobbins Jr. and Julian Dobbins.
She was a lifelong member of Unity Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, Kathy Morrow Kennedy, Michael (Mary ) Morrow, Lynette (Jay) Laher and Allen (Sherry) Morrow; sister Billie Lusk; grandchildren Amber (Ryan), Daniel (Meiyen), Amy (Ben), Matthew, Caleb, Kristy (Shane), Jeremy (Jane), Jared (Rita), Michael (Chrissy), Jada, Billie, David (Jackie), and Chas; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
